The Toyota Sprinter (Japanese: トヨタ・スプリンター, Toyota Supurintā) is a compact car manufactured by Toyota as a variant of the Toyota Corolla. Exclusively sold in the Japanese domestic market, the Sprinter was aimed to be sportier than its Corolla sibling and also using different sheet metal mostly on the C-pillar. This particular Sprinter is optioned in quite a rare spec. Powered by Toyota’s notoriously problem free and simple 1.6 Liter gas 4A-FE engine, the same engine as most Toyota Corollas sold here in North America throughout the 90s, it is easily serviceable here, with parts available almost everywhere.
