This is a true time capsule of the truck that started it all. A 1 owner 1978 Toyota Pickup Truck, the final year of this iconic body style, purchased new here in Oregon in 1978 and garaged stored for most of it’s life. This is the long bed SR5 Package with the G082 axle code, meaning the 3/4 ton rear axle – the some axle used on Chinook motorhomes and other campers of this era truck. It has much higher payload capacity than the non 3/4. Everything on this truck is all original, and everything works as it should. Original AM/FM with auxiliary tape deck, work wonderfully. Heat blows hot, all lights, signals, gauges work as they should. Finished in a blue exterior with the original SR5 decals still intact, and a blue interior. The dash pad presents in near mint condition with 0 cracks, carpet is also in wonderful shape. Recent service includes brakes, wheel balance, fuel filter, spark plugs, and wires and fresh oil and oil filter. Drives wonderfully. Installed new is a matching fiberglass Brahma canopy, complete with locking rear hatch, and side screen vented windows. Also included with truck is original ownership literature.
