Here is a wonderful example of a 1994 Toyota Hiace van with the new powerhouse engine, the turbo diesel 1KZ. A engine that simply revitalized the platform and offers day and night driving experience to the older 2.8l 3L engine. This one has a 1 owner history in Japan, where it was used and maintained regularly. It features the powerful 3.0 Liter 1KZ turbo diesel engine mated to an automatic full time all wheel drive drive train, comparable to a Toyota Land cruiser. It is an 8 seater, with the middle bench rotating 360 degrees, so you can face forwards or backwards. All the upholstery and carpet is in great shape. It’s a brown on brown. Two tone exterior with the factory decals along the waist line. This one was optioned with 3 sunfroofs, a front, middle, and rear. They all function and work wonderfully. All around the inside windows are factory curtains. The seats also can fold flat into a surface that can be easily used as a bed. The rear bench can slide forward or backwards to allow for more cargo space if needed, or more passenger space. These 1KZ engines entered Toyota’s line up in 1994, being used in the Toyota Hiace vans as well as the Land Cruiser Prados, they are a fantastic engine with a great reputation, and loads more power over most of the other 4 cylinder Toyota diesel engines such as the 3L and 2C/3C. Once you drive this thing, you will understand. It’s ready to go, I just had the fluids changed, differential oil was changed 2 months ago. Tires are newer with plenty of tread life. Timing belt, water pump, tensioner, and seals were all done 20k miles ago. It’s ready to go.
