This is simply a wonderful, capable, and versatile van. Here at Ottoex, we have imported and sold dozens of these Townace, Hiace, and Liteace vans. We specialize in them, and after doing this for more than 6 years, we know these vans very well. We know which ones to import, and which ones to avoid. They are all hand picked, the best of the best from Japan. This one is no exception. As with all our other examples, this is a rust free, clean running example. It is an all original 1996 Toyota Liteace. The Liteace and Townace became identical after model year 1992. It’s the FXV trim, which is the upper level trim – featuring a front power sunroof, and rear power moonroof. Full factory curtains wrap around the inside of the rear interior, making it a perfect private camping mobile, should you choose. This one has the highest level fabric, a very soft velour which is wraps itself around the front two captains chairs, two middle captains chairs, and the rear fold up bench which seats 3. For a total of 7 belted seating, making this van fun for the whole clan. Oh, and did mention that the middle row captains chairs can swivel 360 degrees, offering both rear facing and front facing seating. The van comes with front and rear AC and heat. The rear climate controls can be controlled from the front, as well as the back. This van is powered by the 3YE gas engine, a workhorse, and the identical engine that was used among the 1984 to 1989 Toyota vans sold here in North America. This means parts are a breeze. Any local parts store should have what you need, from alternators to water pumps. This gas engine is a workhorse, there is no timing belt to change on these. They are timing belt driven, one less service item you have to worry about.
