This is a 1999 Toyota Camroad ZIL Model, produced by Vantech in Japan. A premium coachbuilder that is still building new models to this day. What is a Toyota Camroad? It is a Toyota Dyna truck chassis permanently mated to a coach body for camping usage. These were sold by different manufacturers through Japan beginning in the late 1990s. The ZIL model by Vantech has many interesting and unique features. Featuring a fully molded fiberglass coach body, and refined interior designed to travel wtih up to 6 passengers on trips. There are seatbelts for 6. And sleeping accommodations for 4-7 adults, depending on size. The exterior only measures 16.3ft bumper to bumper, which means you can park anywhere a normal sized car can fit, barring your height. It is 9.5ft tall and 7ft wide on the exterior as well. Such a compact camper allows you to go almost anywhere. This Toyota is powered by the 2.8 Liter 3L diesel engine, mated to an automatic transmission with overdrive, and a selectable 4wd transfer case. Manually locking AISIN hubs up front, and a dash switch gives you full control over when you want to be in 4×4, or RWD.
