This is one unique rig. Built by Provan / Tiger Adventure Vehicles. The Malayan models were their higher end 4 season models. The coach is mounted to the chassis with a 3-point mount system, allowing for proper flex separately from the cab while off-road. It’s fitted with a fully off-grid setup. This means 400 watts of solar, a 2800 watt inverter, insuated fully welded aluminum coach body custom built for only the Malayan and Siberian models. Both the Malayans and Siberians have since been discontinued by Provan because they were just too expensive to build and it took them too long ot assemble, they were not a rapid enough build process, as it’s a very involved and well built RV. It is built ona 2012 Ford Reglar Cab XL F250 Chassis with the factory locking rear differential, camper package, additional overload springs and more. There are so many unique things about this package. It is only 19ft in length, and it is amazing how many things are packed into this small but very capapble package. It is the only Malayan ever built on a regular cab chassis, giving is a short 137 inch wheelbase. You can maneuver anywhere and park it anywhere. This was actually Tiger Vehicles prototype / demo model, so a lot of extra care, detail, and expenses went into this particular build as it was used by them to showcase the Malayan brand.
The smart interior layout features a full size cab-over bed, and a lower L dinette that converts into an additional bed. A side galley, and rear bathroom / shower complete with a thetford casette toilet. On the outside it features a Westin front brush guard, westin running boards, a rear alumiinum ladder which takes you up to the roof. You’ll find 4 x 100 Watt solar panels up top, providing a wealth of off-grid energy to power everything on board. The onboard plumbing system draws from a 30 Gallon fresh water tank, located inside the vehicle so it does not freeze at lower temperatures. A 6 Gallon DSI hot water heater offers warm water at both the shower and the kitchen sink. There is an additional filtered fresh water faucet at the sinket that filters water through the built-in on board Culligan fresh water filtration treatment system. The pass through is large enough to comfortably crawl through to the front of the truck which seats two. 3 Additioanl passengers can be seated comfortably in the rear. If you are looking for a small, capapble, and reliable 4×4, 4 season, or even full time living expedition, overland, camping, or ski rig for you or your family. This is an ideal candidate. I only wish that coach builders could build more campers like this one. This is a unicorn and a very special package.
